As for this being a democracy we should all recognize that it isn't. CSR is hosted by Jim's business and because the conduct here ultimately reflects on Jim's business, we have to recognize his right to impose whatever rule he wants, or exclude any member he wishes.

Henry

Actually I received quite a bit of encouragement to enable this feature. It is hardly my idea, and it is actually a standard feature of the software that probably should have been turned on since the first day. But then we wouldn't have anything fun to talk about this week.

I am quite embarrassed that this feature was not smart enough to immediately calculate the exact amount of dots for every user immediately :smt021. I guess it will take a month or so before it knows who is who.

When I first enabled it people griped that their dot was gray, so now I loosen the settings and there is complaining that there are too many green dots. Does anybody else feel my pain here :smt013

I went ahead and made this thread a poll, I was planning to do it myself anyway to see what everybody thought of this. I already cast my vote for "I could care less".

.

Jim, I feel for ya. I spent 6 years as the CFO for an 80 attorney law firm, and they were easier to satisfy than this bunch. :smt043

On the other hand, that's what makes this place great. I have a friend with a Chap and he was telling me how great their forum was. It is a joke compared to this. No where even close to the knowledge that exists here, and of course moderated by the factory.:smt009

You are doing us all a great favor by hosting this site, and I hope everyone realizes that.:smt038

Wow I thought my color blindness was at fault. First gray then green I gave up.

We have a post ranking system that does not get used very much for the entire post.
Maybe this reputation thing would be more helpful if the response was for the individual post by the poster and not the poster. This would rate the content being provided and not the poster.

I do certainly appreciate this site and all of those who contribute their time and knowledge to help or humor others. :smt038

My vote is could care less

The rating system means nothing to me. I am capable of figuring out what's good advice and what's not. .....As far as Obama:smt021 goes my partner and I are already shopping for Islands out of the U.S. to move our families in the event he gets into office.

I think the option "I could care less" should read "I couldn't care less" as in "I couldn't possibly care less"

I think its fantastic. Single-digit post count noobs can instantly see by the color of my square that I am simply a wealthy yacht owner with so much time and money on my hands that all I do is sit here on CSR posting humorous anecdotes with no informative value whatsoever.

OUCH!

Sorry, I was disgruntled.

So normally you are gruntled?

I laughed so hard that I gave you my ‘I approve’ vote and moved you over to the green side.

Hope Florida is treating you well Mike. We have had lots of rain. Nipple Beach is shrinking due to high water.

Highest water in many years back in WI. I've been reading all about it WiP and elsewhere. I am still planning my fantastic WiP post about the great FL cruise but unfortunately it hasn't happened yet. Two trips to Egmont so far (both without the camera) and thats it. The move has been a bit rough but still loving every minute of life in FL with zero regrets.

Hope Dom and Jodi can make it out with the Winnebago crew sometime this year! We miss our old boating friends. They need to get out on some overnights this year.

Good to see you are living on the boat again for a bit. I'll get there! :smt100

Well it took me all the way to the last page to figure out how to even do the rep thing! That should not concern anyone, or to consider me slow, I was born Polish, so I always have an excuse for not being the brightest rabbit in the burrow!

You had a few things spelled wrong. I corrected it for you:

"I think its fantastic. Single-digit post count noobs can instantly see by the color of my square that I am simply a cheap lazy small boat owner with so much time on my hands that all I do is sit here on CSR bashing big boat owners with no informative value whatsoever."
