Hello,
So we have just signed the papers on a new to Us `99 370 Aft Cabin! The survey went well and we are happy to be moving forward. Now we must transport the vessel from Manitowoc Marina in WI. to Lake of the Ozarks MO. We're going with Great Lakes Transport for disassembly, transport and reassembly... hope to have the 370 at our dock by Christmas!:)
I'm sure there'll be many questions and projects on this vessel so I'll be hanging around here more. One question for now tho... is it possible to change my user name? I'd like go by "Little Bit Moor"...:D
Thanks,
Denny

Welcome to CSR and Congratulations on the new AC
The AC layout is great and provides tons of space, it will be a great vessel for LOTO

From what I understand, no way to change name on this forum. If you figure it out, please follow up in this thread

Congrats on the new boat. I bought my 380 from LOTO and hauled to central Illinois....

If you PM the mods, they may be able to help with the name change.

Best of luck and congratulations!

Hello Denny, Welcome to CSR

We purchased a 97 370 AC in July at LOTO. We love this boat.

We are trying to find a slip at TRL (Table Rock Lake MO) but have not found one yet. We may end up staying at LOTO another year. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. I will be happy to help with anything I can.

Thanks so much!
I will!
Going from the 240DA to the 370AC has me a little concerned... I'll get it tho!:)
Our dock and property is at 55.3 on the Osage, what MM are you at?
Denny

Denny,

We are at MM19 by the Grand Glaze Bridge on the State Park side of the bridge.

We went for a 34ft Crursier Yachts to the 370 AC, the Crusier had inboards so it was not much of a change in handling, the AC has a lot of square footage to catch the wind.

Gofirstclass moved a large boat and had some good advice. One was if you take anything apart to transport the boat pay to have the person who is putting it back together travel to where the boat is and take it apart.

That is great advice but traveling in the covid world makes it much more difficult to achieve. For sure have them mark everything and not cut anything. Pictures of the before and after as they go as well.

Yes, the hardtop must be removed and the transport company crew will be doing all the work.

Ours is in The Moorings Yacht Club Marina.
Oh wow! We sold our 240DA through Mid Mo Yachts - Barret there at The Moorings. He also showed us several vessels there this past summer.
If everything stays on schedule our 370 should arrive on the 22nd... fingers crossed!:)
No Direction, what are you getting for fuel mileage?
I'm going to add 50 gal to each tank for the almost 37 mile trip up lake to our dock... also fingers crossed for decent weather!:)
Thanks,
Denny

My 2000 380 da with 7.4 horizons (380 HP) gets .7 mpg on plane, I would think you are in that area,

Chris, Is that for one engine or both?

We have the 380hp 7.4s as well, but with the 370AC at 24k lbs I would probably subtract a tenth or two.
Combined (both), I weigh 18,300 empty, on plane, for mine, don’t make much difference in rpm/speed, its .7, maybe .8

good luck, I am sure you are excited as can be
