Mine is NOT. It is something that i have been meaning to do as I find myself putting pillows on the seat to boost myself up.Is everyone's helm seat elevated about 3" higher than the port seat?
..Figure it will be Starboard material cut into strips and bolted thru.
The previous owner raised the seat about six inches using bed risers. He reinstalled seat using extra long bolts going through the risers. Here's a pic of what it looked like.
Worked well, but the seat was too tall for my tastes, so I took them out.

Can anyone provide close up pictures of the mount so I can get some ideas of what to use? (the mount, the slide base of the seat and the bolt ends inside the console would be great).

Thanks!!My blocks are 3" T X 3" W X 12" L.
Looks great!!Yesterday I replaced the temporary carpet that I installed soon after we bought the boat with Corinthian Marine woven vinyl, "Aquaweave Evolution with AquaLoc". The color is called Flax. The color "Flax" picks up the gold piping in the seats. Install was pretty straightforward using the old carpet as templates. This new woven vinyl should last us, and the grandkids for many, many years to come.

Winter project, here I come......
I have the wrap-around seating, so trying to raise everything else will not be easy. Besides, I bring the table from the cabin up into the cockpit and use that. The height works. If you don't have the wrap around rear seating -- you'll notice in Talons picture above, that the rear bench seat also has risers/blocks - raising it up to the same height as the rear facing seats. We're planning on adding those blocks as well -- for two reasons. Same seating height which becomes apparent when using the table for dinner, and hopefully easier access to the generator hatch and cleaning. Stuff just seems to collect under that rear bench without any easy way to clean - without moving it completely out of the way.

Thanks! Cutting the slot was a challenge, I don't remember there being a template for the slot. We used a hand drill, and a Dremel tool with a few different attachments. The new lock works fantastic!!

I take it you do not store much in front of the generator under that hatch.
When I had my carpet made I had them create a separate piece to cover the rear hatch over the generator as I am using it for storage of the bbq grill and other items that I need to get to. With the old carpet it was a PIA to roll up the entire carpet to get into the hatch.

I am just looking to lift the helm seat off of the base.
Looks great! I really enjoy not having to worry about having to have the keys with me when I go down to the boat. Here is the finished product. Bought the marine finish.
My door is a little different that yours so I has to make a special cut to inset the strike. Used a grinder and a Dremel with a cutoff blade. Also had to grind off tabs inside the door.
