I am sure the fuel system on this boat has
fuel/water separator filters but I have no idea what I should be looking for or where. Can someone help me out here? If I knew what part to order I believe I could take it from there.

Follow your fuel lines from the tank to the carburetors. If you have separators they will be obvious. Likely to be metal canisters with a line into and out of the canisters. Will have a drain plug to empty the canisters into a can and a filter inside a screw off bottom. Next two filters if you have them are smaller fuel filters, and then small fine mesh carburetor filters.

"...and a filter inside a screw off bottom." Do I replace this filter? If so, what is a description I can use to purchase one? Thanks for the help.

It's removable. Just take it to your local marina parts department, or West Marine, or Napa auto parts store. They should be able to fix you up. It may have a part number on it. Should not be hard to find. I'll see if I have a pic of something similar so you get the idea of what they look like. There are likely O rings that need to be replaced at the same time to prevent leaks.

The arrow points to a fuel filter. If this were a water separator there would be a drain on the bottom to empty it. Then you would take a strap wrench and remove the canister at the bottom of the black top and remove the filter cartridge inside the canister. Replace with a new filter and O ring and test for leaks. Do not over tighten but make sure it does not leak.
