Does anyone know of any effective cleaners for the Sundeck vinyl upholstery to get out the grimy body and tanning oil stains ? I have white vinyl captain’s helm and related benches that are very dirty and hard to clean. I recently redid several seats and seat backs so the remaining seats look awful but the expense to redo the rest is exorbitant! So before I take that plunge I would like to give it another go with a deep cleaning if anything is out there that works!

Help!

Do some you tube searches. What some pros seem to recommend is a degreaser and a scrub brush. It really helps break the chit up. Good luck.

Marine 31 is pretty amazing.

Yeah - can get both at WestMarine. Also at places like WalMart, AceHardware and other marine places. There is a marine and regular version of Spray 9, not sure what the difference is other than price. On the 303, there is a fabric protector (for canvas etc) and a vinyl protector - you want the vinyl for you seats. Google both, you find places that sell them.

Thanks! I will...any degreaser recommendations?
This guy recommends maguires super degreaser. Fast forward to 8 min to see it work. I would skip the magic eraser though for all but the most difficult stains.

Marine 31 is the best I've used. Tried them all on the seats of my 2002 360. Marine 31 was the only one that worked. My mechanic was so impressed he bought it for his boat restoration service. I've used as directed for 4 years. Cleans completely and no problem with it degrading the stitches. Just spray it on, wipe it off, rinse with water. Maybe 2 applications and a little rubbing for the problem areas. Follow it up with 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Try LA’s Totally Awesome Cleaner. Home Depot sells it.

I have found the orange stains from sunscreen to be difficult to get out, especially on decks and on vinyl seats. I have found that Iron Out removes them easily. They just disappear when other things don't touch them.
