Wiring a Windlass on my 2008 240 Sundancer

If you do a search on this topic, you can find a couple threads about this. But, are you aware of the scope of this installation? The cost and time associated with doing it? Dismantling a decent portion of the cabin... moving the bow lights... modifying the anchor hatch... adapting an anchor roller to a bow that was never meant for one... cutting holes in the deck and the dash... etc?

As long as you've done your homework and are aware of the money/effort that this is going to cost you, go for it! Take a look at some of those other threads and if you still have questions, please ask.

Good luck on your project. I don’t know your experience or skill level, so I don’t want to insult you. I added a bow anchor roller to a cuddy before and it was deceptively involved.
Would you consider yourself experienced in marine electrical and boat construction or are you totally green looking for beginner level information?

Find a path to the bow and pull in (2) #6 or #4 feeds from the battery. Install 2 relays to handle the main current draw in the anchor locker and run #14 from the relays to the helm switch.
