We have had very little winter thus far in North GA. After a day of bad storms yesterday, Jan 12, 2020 could not have been any better on Lake Lanier. We made it a point to get out and enjoy it as the rain sets back in tomorrow for looks like a week or more. With temps in the mid-60s and very little wind, it was T shirt weather in January. Here are a few pics for you guys up north...

Yeah, I had the top down today in Huntsville Al. That's a RARE occasion in January. Let's hope it stays mild, but doesn't generate too many summer issues.

bbwhite, I have it on good authority from my sources inside the NSA I submitted those photos to that they were actually taken last July.

So your ol' trick of trying to make us northern boys believe you're out running around on your boat just ain't gonna work.

Besides, I'm envious.

Planet Earth has finally initiated the process to purge itself of the human species. Don't worry, it'll be quick.

Shhhhhh.......we had the same weather in NY........afraid the weather gods will hear and punish us with a few feet of snow......

We had a helluva blizzard go through today (according to the weather guy on the local channel). We got a "ton of snow" today according to the news gal standing alongside the freeway. About 1".

The weather media is no more than a spin off from the news media. They dramatize everything to the hilt and create panic among less knowledgeable people. If you did not know better, an underground home would be on the top of the list.....
