My sweet Maggie passed away on Friday, here are some of her best boating pictures. Sure going to miss that girl. She didn’t love boating, but she loved being with us rather than staying at home. Not the best swimmer!

So sorry to hear. That is always a tough loss.

We lost our girl Molly a couple years ago. Now we have Bella and she LOVES to swim.

Hopefully, brighter days are ahead.

So sorry for your loss. I know how much it hurts. Cancer took our little Maggie away from us a year and a half ago. She loved being out on the boat. She was only 4 1/2 years old. We still miss her

So sorry, I’m so fortunate to have had 10.5 years, pretty much pain free at the end. So lucky.

Gosh, I am so sorry, 4.5 years is way too short. Maggie looks like she was a beautiful golden!

my first 2 goldens lived to be 8.5 and almost 9 years old. The last lived to be just over 11. Still miss her being in certain parts of the house doing what She did.

So sorry. Dogs are so much a part of your soul after a few years. They give so much and add so much. I hope the sadness subdues and the great memories take over quickly.

Both are beautiful dogs. Sorry for your loss. I had to put down my cocker two years ago, tore my heart out. I am not at the place where I can replace him just yet but miss the hell out of him... Maybe this will help ease your pain,
Put both your dog and your wife in the trunk of your car. Wait an hour, who is happy to see you

When we lost Maggie my family and I were devastated. We discussed it and decided that we would get another dog in a few months after we’re done mourning. As luck would have it. 3 weeks later I met a girl that bought a golden puppy and couldn’t keep it. I jumped at the chance to give that puppy a loving home. My wife was upset with me for not consulting with her first but bringing “Abby” home was the best thing I ever did.

We lost a Lab to cancer back in 2014 when we lived in Alaska. We moved to Las Vegas and it took me awhile to get used to the idea of having another dog because losing Colby was really hard on all of us. When I was ready I went to the Animal foundation and had a look around. I knew I wanted another lab and I found a two year old beautiful girl who had been brought back two times and was very sad. I adopted her and now she is my big shadow. Havent had a chance to spend alot of time with her on the boat since it is broken. Funny thing is she is a lab but doesn't like to swim or get wet. But she is a great dog and I am happy to have her and she knows she has a home forever. It is sad to hear about all that have lost their best friends I know just how it feels.
