Planning to reposition our new (to us) boat to Texas next week.
As luck would have it, I've roped the esteemed Capt. Rusty for the repositioning cruise and as word has it we may even pick up a rider in Panama City if Frank is still game.
Looking forward to the trip, it will be a significant change from last week in the Bahamas but it will be great to have the boat home in Texas.
Initial thought is six days, looping down to Marathon and around the Gulf from there. I'm sure there will be a few good photos of the trip to come.

Pics and updates are mandatory..LOL. Enjoy the trip!

You should buy some lottery tickets because you’re on a winning streak.

low tonite in Panama City Beach is supposed to be 40˚......y'all better bring coats. Very unseasonal and the temps will moderate by early next week.

I'm hoping for the weather to improve, we knew that we were on the edge of possible cooler weather but had a few delays. We have lows in the 30s this week but we'll be back in the 50s and 60s by next week. Looks like the winds will ease a bit by the start of the trip too.
Turn the heat on, we'll be there soon!

Can I come?? I bring beer, bourbon and gas money...

Not sure gas, grass, or ass applies, but it is the sentiment!

Man, I needed you last week when we were in the Bahamas. Heck, if you paid for water it would have been a bonus.
AT this point I think we've reached our max capacity, sorry captain

I am excited for you guys! Definitely the Sea Ray Dream Team. Lots and lots of pictures guys. It would be great to have a daily vlog/blog of this trip? JC

Thanks - Bucket list of sorts
We'll try to chronicle the trip as best we can

The real question is...... which bill will be larger..... the diesel fuel for the boat or the alcohol for the crew.

I only drink Coke Zero and you obviously haven't traveled with Captain Higgins. You leave the dock before the sun gets over the horizon and those of you involved in running the boat or navigating must be ready for action. Loading up on alcohol isn't a good plan because you will pay for it when Rusty says "Let's Go". In other words, this won't be a party trip..........but just spending time with Rusty will keep you smiling and learning.
