I am trying to watch game one. Nationals and the Astros, just not feeling it this year. I don't know either team very well so that probably has something to do with it.... Just doesn't seem to be a lot of excitement behind it ...especially at the game and the commentators

Pretty sure it’s regional. HOUSTON is crazy excited and Astros tickets were selling for 650.00 for standing room only.

As a long time Tigers fan I'm happy to see a few of our old great players move on with teams that actually get a chance at world series!
Not sure I follow. They had several chances at winning a World Series for Detroit (2006, 2012, 2013 among others) but they didn't come through.

Definitely a lot of excitement here in DC! Last World Series here was in 1933.

I went to Senators games as a kid and am really excited that we've made it this far. Too bad the ticket prices are as crazy as they are. Standing room tickets are starting around $700.

What a great series... Amazing the come backs from both teams
Really was, home team loses every game? Crazy. Winning team starts the season 19-31, fans call for the manager to be fired, yet makes it to the series as a wild card, then manages to get behind in 5 season ending games, yet comes back in each one. And the astros were a great team, great pitching, and great season overall.

Both played exceptionally well and it`s a shame both could not be winners.
