We should start an oil thread.
Some people are naturally nervous, and want to put magic sauce in the engines, whether it is fuel or oil related. Let them. I worked for a Nascar team, and only one oil passed our durability and wear tests. Several were very close.
Put pump gas in your boat and run it. No need to fog your engines if you are just putting the boat away October-April. Run the motor to burn the left over fall gas next spring. You will never know the difference.
Premium gas is not better gas in any way than regular, unless you have compression needs that require it.
