Thanks i will check it out -I also use four 1" straps with SS ratchets. Mine came from GHS, probably cheaper at Defender.

Anybody have their engine hours dramatically increase? Two years ago, my stbd engine suddenly indicated 52,329 hours one day. It is caused by a soldered-in battery on the MMDS board. My "MAN man" sent the board off to MAN for a fix. Last week, my port engine read 520,543 hours! Same thing. Since most of our boats are the same age, you may see this someday. MAN says it's OK to continue to run until you get it fixed...
I call them, very helpful. They have almost always been able to get me an answer while on the phone. They must have some data base at their disposal. Thanks Brian - I'll add this to my 58DB Knowledgebase Document!
Do you call them or email them?
Correct, sir.Thanks Brian! 865-971-6250?
I purchased 4 stainless from Amazon -- working load 333 lbs 25 dollars each - should be more than enough working loadThanks i will check it out -
Brian - when you did your fuel filters last year were they simple to change or were there some challenges. I know the water sensor on the Mann and Hummel filter bowl is delicate...
When I watched my "MAN man" do them last year, the priming pump didn't seem to do much and there was a lot of cranking involved to get them running again...
Thanks Brian. did you drain the last two filters before changing them?
This is the extendable strap wrench that my "MAN man" used on the Mann and Hummel filters:

Don’t let me ruin it for you guys... I was told Christmas tree fasteners too. However, I found out the hard way that they are actually screwed on from behind. Pry hard enough and you’ll see what I mean. Summer went by without ordering the 1/4” rope lighting so it’s on the spring punch list at this point.
FWIW I did replace the rope lighting under the vanity in the master head.
