Electrical issue

After my a/c repair guy plugged a pump into my salon outlet and popped the circuit, I no longer have one set of salon lights and both outlets. I am in a 2007 58 sedan bridge. Would anyone know where the reset is? The owners manual said it is in a “ discreet spot somewhere “ .

Yep, and Sea Ray is known to hide them in head or shower storage areas or even out in the cockpit.

Thanks. It took about 1 hours and I did find it in the cabinet under the TV buried in the back.

The GFIs can be wired so that only the GFI receptacle goes down, not all the receptacles on the circuit.

That's true, but that also means those other plugs are no longer protected.

This would be a bad idea.

If you do that you have to put a G.F.I. outlet in every location that G.F.I. controlled.

We must always be careful not to alter protection built in to electrical and fuel systems. Cutting corners in either of these systems are what causes things to go boom.

I want GFIs to protect certain areas such as the galley and the heads. I don't need an upstream GFI to protect a salon receptacle by taking it down even if nothing is plugged in to the receptacle.

what about eliminating all the gfi outlets and install gfi breakers at the main panel
same protection but all in one spot
