The usual things today, the electric carts with tons of excess flesh spilling off the the seat edges as they cruise the candy and chip aisles.

Lots of wrinkly lookin' ass meat squished out of too small shorts.

All the folks tryin' to function one handed because the other one is full of phone.

But today a first, a 6'+ guy wearing a skirt, talking to his gigantic comfort dog as he was sweeping the floor. I looked into the dogs eyes and he would've rather been chasing rabbits I swear.

Normally, the proper way for us to reply is "This thread is worthless without pictures"... But I think in this case, it's better without the pics!

I posted this almost 10 years ago, but it's still a laugh!

Always an adventure at our local Walmart. But the cheap prices on motor oil and cases of bottled water keeps bringing me back.
The key is to try to avoid it on weekends when all the stars are out.
My personal favorite is being behind someone on the self checkout line who pays with an EBT card, then trying to catch up with them in the parking lot to see what kind of car they load their stuff in to.
Two weeks ago it was a pair of weight challenged ladies with big gold hoops loading their stuff in to the trunk of their E series MB.
Was tempted to snap a picture with my phone but I figured I already had too many strikes against me because of my gender, complexion and the MAGA hat sitting on my dashboard.
Being a retired LEO there was a good chance I would have wound up on the evening news with footage of a former fat reverend yelling ugly things through a megaphone in front of my house.

If you go in the morning before 9 am, it’s a completely different experience at Walmart here.

The store is clean, the workers smile and say hello, and I’m in and out very quickly.

Once 10 am hits, all hell breaks loose!

I used to hate Walmart because of their "ruthless" policies about pay and benefits for new hires.

Then I had my eyes opened. Walmart does not pay much for new hires and IIRC they have little or no benefits for the first 6 months. But, to their defense, WM hires people who have no job experience, have never established the regimen of getting up on time in the morning, taking a shower and getting cleaned up, putting on clean clothes and showing up at work on time.

They also have a horrendous turnover with these new workers. I've heard the figure that only 40% of their new hires are still there at the end of 6 months. I don't know if that is still true, but even if those numbers are close, I can understand why they don't provide much in the way of pay and benefits.

If one takes a look at the longer term employee, WM is very fair in what they pay and the benefits they provide. That's not to say I love the store, but I'm in there for something about once a week.

I will never understand how some people go out in public dressed the way they do...
