I have 2 heads in my boat and both faucets, circa 1998, are leaking. I want to replace them with something more modern but the connections don’t match up.

Does anyone know what type of connections or adapters I need to fit onto the existing Sea Ray plumbing?

Or, are there any faucets that are direct fit?

You probably will just need some brass connections to reduce one side or the other. Can be a reducer or coupler. When I did mine I picked up the connectors at a local store like Ace, Lowes or Home Depot. You will just need to know the size of each side.

Oh, and keep in mind these are single hole faucets when picking it out. Also look at your height clearance if necessary for doors, etc.

I replaced my Gally faucet with this one.

Prep Bar Faucet in Chrome Sink Bar Faucet Single Hole Bathroom Faucet https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075295S1X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_QKcvDb0QXF428

I replaced my head faucet with this one.
I really like both of them, and I used the hoses from my old faucets for the new ones.

Good luck getting to that guest head faucet. A real pita. I have the same ones and was able to clean them up and tighten all fittings and no leaks. The handles come apart in layers and can cleaned up nicely as well as the chrome faucets. As said, with some pipe tape and the existing adapters you should be good to go, either replacing or tightening existing.

John, I know the fitting you need. I just bought two for my galley faucet. It's posted somewhere on 400DB forum. But I'll go look it up and post it here.

Here it is. Once you convert to 1/2npt with this you can use off the shelf hardware stuff.

Or this one, which gets you to a standard compression fitting.

Just browse that site and you'll find what you need. The boat site is 15mm.

Try shark bites and change over to dimensional plastic.

Perfect timing! I need this as my OEM unit just recently broke.
Thanks!

Which one Jim? The head, or galley?
I replaced both sinks also.

It was, but I replaced the sink also, so I had easy access.
I wanted the single handle faucets, I think they look much nicer, and easier to use.
It shouldn't be too bad with the sink in.

Looking at the original picture of the faucet, I have this exact same model but I want to take off both
the hot and cold movable handles. Usually handles usually have a cap, which is removed to show the bolt holding the handle to the base unit. However, I can't find out how to dismantle either side. No part seems to come apart to show the bolt, etc. If anyone can show me what I'm doing wrong I would appreciate it.

The caps unscrew. Use pliers over a towel to break them free.

Thank you so much for that info. Whoever worked on this faucet last installed the hot and cold backwards - which is really hard to do since I see each is marked with a red for hot and and blue for cold. That meant each handle worked in the wrong direction. It's something I have come to put up with, but I'm glad to have them working in the correct direction. I also lubricated both while I had them apart, and they work much better now. Just like brand new.
The flow of water coming out did not seem right, so I was feeling so good about my previous fix it job I decided to take a look at that as well. I unscrewed the cap and put it in some CLR, and cleaned the edges with a pin. Now the water flows again like new.
I always knew I was a great lover, and now I can add excellent plumber to my list of accomplishments. That's my story and I'm stricken' to it. LOL

Thanks Bill. I bought the parts and the faucets. Now I'm just waiting for them to come in. I'll share some pics here when the new ones are in.

I had issues with mine as well. Hot side would not turn on. Took the handle off and the internal platic parts crumbled. Turned the brass post but nothing. Turned freely but no water. So replacement was the way to go for me. Spent a few hours searching for a suitable replacement. Finally found this. Not cheap but it is an extremely well made product. I am very ahhpy with it. Better than the original.

I also had to spend some time at Lowes finding the various fittings to make things work. Plastic fresh water lines on the boat are not the same size as what is genrally available at the hardward store.
