Damn, wish I had known about them! Pulley was $50, but I looked and a whole alternator is $110!You can get replacement alternators with the pulley from DB Electrical cheaper than pulleys alone.

Bob, in a desperation move, I ordered the spacer tonight. Need to resolve this asap so I can move on to other pressing needs on the boat.More just putting it out on the ether as you were both talking about shimming. Really, though that's all the bulletin is about. No mention of trimming, but they are happy to sell you a spacer of what they consider to be the right thickness. I think it was something like $10 per engine for a relatively thick spacer.
yup. I shoot em with corrosion block, and replace them every 3-4 years. My factory Motorola alts were both bad after 300 hours (over 20 years). Heat kills all of them.DB electrical products are all Chinese crap and rust quickly. There's a reason they're cheap.
