You should be able to buy the bolt (star shaped head). Did that on mine. Not cheap! I think like 80.00.
I had the same thing happen. Keep in mind that the bolt is reverse threaded. I took a small standard drill bit (with standard clockwise rotation) and the bolt came right out. Good luck.
I took mine out by hand. No bit was needed.My plan is to drill a pilot hole (standard clockwise drill rotation) then use an extractor bit. My question is.... the bolt that is snapped off and wedged down there will come out with clockwise turns on the extractor bit?
I just did the exact same thing. Can you tell me where you got your replacement nut?Guidance needed. I had some gypsie slippage on the windlass so I accidentally overtightened the star shaped clutch nut in the center. It snapped off. Any guidance or help in fixing this will be appreciated.
