The Betsy Ross Flag Shoe

I haven't supported Nike in years....Like many companies, they are resting on their brand loyalty to put out a chap product...Now it's more about hype than quality...In the 80's it was a well built quality shoe that would last and was reasonably priced...For at least the last 10 years + it's an inferior product destroying the brand....They know they tarnished the brand in their market and have moved on to the lowest common denominator, hype...So I distanced myself because of their quality and I imagine others did too...This is just great publicity for them in the divisive world we live in today and they want to profit and perpetuate it...Keep selling a $7 product for $150.... It's sad they let these children have their way instead of standing up for our country...It was the flag that founded our country and our colonies and represents freedom...Instead of explaining the truth, they let a small minority of misguided individuals appropriate it as a symbol of negativity...The truth is, psychologically, it's on them to figure out their hatred and demons...The "Betsy Ross" flag was our nation's symbol of liberty and freedom...How easily we let it be removed....What a pathetic group our corporate leaders are today...Our Gov't..

The truth is, all this negativism regarding our country takes it's toll...It's from everywhere...There is a certain faction that wants to remove pride and honor of our nation. Who could possibly benefit from such divisiveness and the weak-minded fall easily for it...

Happy 4th...

Hearing about the hooplah in DC tomorrow, I actually wish I was there!! Of course, some even boohoo the celebration of the 4th because of the cost...

Well if this doesn't get you going, nothing will. All I can say is "enemy of the people!"

I actually don't have issue with it....It might be a bit sensationalized, but there are truths to what was said. I agree that we can do better...Come on, our school system? Our healthcare? While I' rolled my eyes over some of it, we can do better and it's best not to sit back and just pat ourselves on the back....To keep a nation great, we need to keep doing doing the work...I just don't see the Kapernick's of the world doing any of it....Still a great nation with a strong history...

Yeah but being Great doesn't mean you're perfect.

"Sad indeed. I don't support them and that's about all I can do." Our support or lack of support is the most straight forward way of expressing our feeling and emotions. I - personally - choose not to purchase any more Nike products. If there allegiance to and in the US market is this... poor, I've many other equally or better shoe choices.

Ordered Puma today - not Nike. Purchased Under Armor - not Nike. Purchased Sketchers not Nike. I respond with my wallet.

Happy Fourth Nike!

Betsey Ross was a Quaker. As well all know they supported slaves fleeing the south. How much stupidity do we put up with here folks? Anyway already have my boat down at the Levee. Tomorrow I am going down and putting up all of my 4th decor and we will celebrate the greatest gift God has given us, the right to freedom and the right to choose!!!

It's interesting to note that the previous president proudly displayed the Betsy Ross flag during his inauguration. Just sayin'

The posts here act as if Nike might care about America and her ideals. News Flash, They Do Not! They are part or want to be a part of the globalist cabal that rules the world.

There was a subtle shift in the last 10 years or so that led these companies to think that they were part of something bigger than any country, even America the greatest free country in the world.

Please learn what is exactly happening in our world...

Picking sides when it comes to race is never a good strategy for a company. Race issues along with politics, are the most polarizing things in this country. For a huge company to cave into this pressure it will certainly affect their sales. If I owned Nike stock, it would have been sold, strictly for financial reasons. Remember, Nike is not just a shoe company. They sell clothing and a huge amount of sporting goods along with many other products. I for one will never buy a golf ball, club, shirt or anything with the Nike logo ever again. Public companies need to be race, gender, and politically neutral. I wouldn't be surprised if at this point, Nike ends up with many shareholder lawsuits for corporate malfeasance.

Here's another example of a racist president using that racist Betsy Ross flag for political gain!!!!

Oh wait..............This was Obama's inauguration..............

Slippery slope.....Political correctness > Intolerance > Antifa (=Anti First Amendment enforcers) > some other intermediary steps > Totalitarian state.

That said, here's my hat going forward:

Nike is a marketing and distribution company; they manufacture no product and all products they market/distribute are acquired external to the US. Nike's headquarters are located in Portland Or and run by people of Portland Or; that should say enough.... Not to PO folks here from the Portland area but you get it....
