OK Campers. I need some help with the parts for the level indicator in my fresh water tank. We have a 2000 380 Sundancer, and the water tank is under the V-Berth. The system is a five wire, with a 5-rod sensor in the tank and a level read-out on the main DC Board. It has a momentary switch to light up the level indicator. Parts Book says I need Sender Part Number 333393 and Indicator Gauge Part Number 806901. The symptoms are that it shows "EMPTY" just fine, but at any other level, all the levels light up when the indicator panel is switched on. I pulled the sender first and it basically fell apart. I carefully re-assembled it and no change. I removed the board and assume it is the problem, but I can not find a replacement for the SENDER, and the cross over for the indicator 'board' I found in the CSR archives (Intellitech 00-00315-000 for the 86901) has no picture. I have asked all the smart guys I know, but so far nothing. I would really like to just replace both components and move on to my regular maintenance items. Help!??

So, I have found a picture of exactly the 5-probe sender #33393 at FPMarine but they are out of stock and do not have a source. They call it "water level sensor with 5 levels. 1/4" male thread fitting". After one week of cruising the internet and asking all the smart guys I know, I am pretty much ready to just purchase a complete aftermarket set up, re-cut the tank, and modify the DC panel, to match. Nobody can confirm the Intelitech 00-00315-000 crossover, for the 86901, is correct or show me a picture. I can not believe a 2000 boat would present this level of difficulty just locating simple replacement parts. Most Sea Ray owners must just use a flashlight?? I would like the boat to remain as factory stock as possible but I could be done by now, if I had just gone with an aftermarket system.

OK Campers! Whoop here it is :0) Got some stellar assistance from SeaRay Customer Service (Thanks Tom). Got some most excellent service from 'Sporting Edge Ski and Marine' (Thanks Derek). Both Parts ordered today! P/N: 806901 Indicator, Water Level 12V - SeaRay has 13 in-stock (Current Price $44.00 each). P/N: 333393 Sending Unit, Water 20", 5-Wire - Pretty much unobtainium on-line, but they managed to dig one up for me (Current Price $58.50 each). Add some shipping and handling, a short road trip, and probably some 'Thank-you' beverages, and I think I am in the front row!

What were your symptoms? When I press the "tank level" button on my, new to me, (2002 340da) all the lights up. Not sure if that is "full water" or "completely empty".
Doesn't ever change, full or empty of water.

I think i have a similar problem my gauge read full all the time , i am thinking of changing the P/N: 333393 Sending Unit, Water 16", 5-Wire - all I need to do is find the part . Does any body know who may have this part?

Jajaja i think i need the gauge too , just to play it safe. Do you know the part number ? Could it be /N: 806901 Indicator?

If your led gauge reads full all the time, most likely, the 4 transistors on the circuit board are shorted. That solved mine. I bought the transistors on line, and have about 40 left over. If you would like, I’ll send you 4. (N/c)
Or send me the circuit board and I will install them for you. (N/c)

Fixing these gauges is a waste of time and money. The design is flawed.

1993 searay 370DA freshwater tank under the V berth 5 wire plastic rod sending unit showed full when ever pressing the water level switch on the panel. I unscrewed the sensor allowing the wire to twist up, then it worked till I reinstalled it. Turned out to be the connections, the sensor wires are solid and the boat wires are stranded, connected with a crimp butt connector and 2 wires were loose. Replaced connectors and problem solved.

Hi Speakrdude - Jim- . Do you have any of those transistors left? I have a 2006 380 sundancer and the water light just stays on. On the other side, I dont think I'm getting any power from the waste monitor. I just bought the boat so I have a ton of bugs to work out.Any help you could give would be appreciated.
Thanks

Absolutely. Is the 06 model the same electrics as the 02’s?
Can you snap a pic?

Yup. No problemo!
Do you want me to send you 4 transistors, or do you want to cut loose and send to me? I can bench test it too. Either way, is no charge!

If you dont mind, I'll send it over to you. I'm headed to the boat tomorrow, so I'll pull it out. Message me you address....and thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.

Is this the circuit board you are talking about?
