My boat has pop in screens with plastic frames so I can’t see what the factory setup was. From reading other posts it looks like the factory screens were behind the rubber seal. Was there a frame for the screen? If not how do you get screen tight before putting seal back in?

I can’t close my window with these popins.

I think you got this wrong if I am reading correctly. The older (90's era) boats had the screen integrated with the original seal. The screen was frameless & was sandwiched berween the rubber seal and the metal bezel. The new design (with the plastic frame) fits in a groove on the inner circumference of the rubber seal between the metal bezel & the operating porthole. It is installed from the inside and can't fit past the bezel on the outside. Hope this helps.

Gotcha. So do the factory screens allow you to close the window with the screen in?

Does anyone know how to find new screens for the older 90 era boats? We bought a 98 400 Express Cruiser and the screens had been taken out. Would love to have new ones in place.
