Aqua Marine Deck installed

Aquamarine stocks many templates for various Sea Rays. My swim platform was stock and came in 4 pads. Installation was easy, just have to be careful to clean the surface thoroughly. It is beautiful and drew many compliments at my marina. It's also very comfortable on the feet and doesn't get hot.

I'm thinking about doing the cockpit next, but would have to make a template for that.
Ask if they have 2006-2008 40da for cockpit. Might get lucky.

I'm having Aquamarine do both my platforms.

Hi JimG,

Congrats! The Aqua Marine Deck looks great. I got the same last summer. Since they are local, mine was actually installed by the factory. Thomas (owner) is great to work with.

Oh yeah, I know, if there aren't pics then it didn't happen so here ya go.View attachment 50274 View attachment 50275 View attachment 50276 View attachment 50277 View attachment 50278 View attachment 50279 View attachment 50280 View attachment 50281 View attachment 50282 View attachment 50283
Hi Brett I was wondering if you could share you cleans your boat? Looks Great!

I've debated ordering that for my 96 330 Sundancer and glad to see the quality is good. Better option than the $4500 quote I got for someone to come out, template and do it for me.
I am waiting to get a quote from Aqua but I did get a boat show quote from SeaDek $4000 (DIY - boat show special - $5500 for SeaDek to take care of everything professionally) 2001 Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge. Question - How is the Aqua holding up? How does this compare to others with the same size boat for both Aqua or SeaDek?

After one season it looks like new still. I have the beige with holly lines. Like anything else it needs love every so often. I def know it gets less hot than SeaDek.

Mine will be 2 years in a couple of months. DIY E-Bay I can put up with minor dye variations for $4000

I can vouch on great lakes boat! Flooring looks awesome still on his boat and frankly has me jealous and looking at doing my 330 now because of how nice his looks!

My Aqua Marine Deck still looks really good after a 3½ years. Last fall I tried cleaning with a small electric, light duty pressure washer. I experimented with one of my mats first. Surprisingly, it worked like a champ with no damage.

That is actually all I use on mine. 1750 PSI, no cleaners at all, just a spray pattern as wide as a "plank". Cleans like new every time. I suspect all of the closed cell foam products like SeaDek would react the same way.

Power washing is the way to go. We did ours last year both with soap and a brush and power washing.....

As far as longevity... mine is 1 1/5 seasons in and it's held up well. I did have an issue where I let a black line sit on it in the sun and it kind of melted/disfigured it. I believe it's worse on my color (the darker grey) that the lighter colors. I complained to Aqua Marine Deck and they told me that they warn against that in the fine print. They ended up selling me a replacement piece for a nice discount though.

I have been using Dawn and a brush for clean up... I may try the pressure washer also.
