Here we go again same thing happened last year...Strong east wind pushing the water to west end. I am on a floating dock and marina says everything is alright...

The Army Corp of Engineers records show Lake Erie is 1" higher today than it was a year ago. Doesn't sound like much, but that is a lot of water. Lake Michigan/Huron is 6" higher than last year. We can see that change at our dock.

According to the Marblehead weather bouy, the water level peaked at 69.4" above low water datum at 2pm today. At 8am this morning the lake level was 51.1 above LWD. That is an 18.3 inch gain in six hours.

Madison Street in Port Clinton has several inches of water flowing over it.
