92' Sundancer 370 Purchased

If trends from this forum are any indication you can plan on wanting a bigger/newer/different boat in approximately 2.65 years. These (pricey) upgrades will surely make your current boat more sellable, but will not likely make it substanially more valuable. Spend wisely!
Thank God I am at the end of that journey. My covered slip is now the limiting factor on the size of my boat and I have now reached that limit.

No plan to sell this boat, if I do ever decide to pull the trigger on a newer boat, I would think about shipping this one to the panhandle for use while vacationing. In the mean time this one should give me some serious tinkering time and keep me from blowing $$ on FPV drones!!! Lol

I am certain I can find one, I should have been more clear.

What type of flag pole mounts have folks had good success with, sockets/ surface mount etc...
Gotcha. Personally, I prefer the flush mount with a teak pole. But that's me. All of the Cobalt guys buy stainless.

Sea trail is tomorrow, I had my Mech de-winterize the boat today and ask him to snoop around a bit and get a good look at the engines specifically as I may want to re-power to 496s for FI & easier digital monitoring with the new electronics.

His words,” boats is in great shape, nice boat. The generator fired right up as did both motors, they run surprisingly nice and smooth, I wouldn’t think about a re-power for a long time, these have been well maintained.” This is from the guy I would be paying $$ to do the re-power. Is it bad I may be a little disappointed I don’t HAVE to re-power...lol

While all that is great news I assume tomorrow will be more revealing as we take her out. The survey guy said he wants me to drive so he can spend his time watching, listening, and poking around. Your thoughts on anything I personally should record, track, look for or listen for while we are under way.

This will be my first time at the helm of a twin cruiser, and the forcast shows 20-30mph with gust of maybe 40mph, should I reschedule the sea trial?

Sounds like a great boat little too windy for my tastes if it was me I would reschedule would be nice to see her put through her paces with not ideal conditions out ,but that’s a little too sporty
