Official 320 Dancer Thread

I have looked but I cannot find where someone had posted the replacement part number for the Shakespeare stainless steel VHF Antenna mount on the starboard radar arch on our 320’s. They list two but I know the last one the dealer put on my boat was not correct as the angle the antenna was stored at when lowered was not correct.

Mine came with a Glomex for 2006. GLMRA166

The part for the starboard/port nav light was a GE/sylvania 89 (8w 13v bulb). Worked great and I needed it!! Coming back at night, I had radar going, second person watching that, and I was focusing on the horizon. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, I crossed a wake (water was like glass, so pretty noticeable even though a small wake), and off to my starboard side was a Scarab with no lights, pretty low profile boat, and we never saw it show up on radar, never saw it period. I beeped the horn a few times, he actually turned and followed me in the rest of the way. His lights were sketchy, coming on, then going off, loose connection. I spoke to him once we were back at the dock, he saw me the entire time, so no chance of collision, but man, that was a bit unnerving.

Recently bought a 2004 320 DA and noticed the windlass wasn’t working. It was a simple “fix” as I just needed to go into the engine room and reset the main windlass breaker. Here’s my question... I’ve heard that the windlass draws a lot of battery. Should I turn off that main breaker when I don’t need to run the windlass? If so, that would be unfortunate as it’s a little hard to get to on a recurring basis. Thanks!

I have never done that on my two previous boats. I am new to the 320 as well. No issues with the windless during the survey but I will try mine as soon as I splash in April.

Nah. It should only draw current if it is armed and moving.

What do you guys use (if anything) for curtains/sun shades for your cabin portholes? The boat I recently purchased does not have any coverings.

My 310 had factory curtains. Did the PO remove them from yours?

I had my boat for 2 years when I found a stash of manuals and a power adapter in that hidden compartment in the aft bunk. Maybe they are stashed!

Is this the door on the starboard side

I was hoping I would find them. But unfortunately I cannot find the curtains and the filler cushion for the aft horseshoe seat.

The previous owner said he never had them either.

Hopping in and find them out there on the internet.

The filler cushions are the seat back cushions. Starboard bottom and aft bottom.
Pull them out and put them down to make the bunk.

The curtain folds hanging and slides across the ceiling tracks-then fold back up and slides into the storage space made for the curtain-seperates the aft cabin for privacy
