So I picked her up about a month ago.
A 1988 345 Sedan Bridge.
After an 85 mile trip to her new home in Daytona Beach, Im finally going through all of the corners of the boat.
I was in shock! The previous owner literally has every piece of literature, every reciept, for every part included when purchased. If anything was added over the years, you better believe that the manual and receipts are included. Its all in two big binder type organizer’s.
Im going to try and post pics..
Happy New Year!

Very cool, I traced back the first two owners of the 270 and talked to them...

I have the same with the 88 340EC I just bought. Not every receipt but the original sea ray owners packet and every owners manual for every system and add on. Pretty cool. Good luck with it.

My previous boat and current boat were purchased from the original owners so both had all the manuals, brochures, and records. When I sold my 300, I provided the buyer everything I obtained when I purchased it, plus 12 years worth of excel spreadsheets that detailed every penny spent on that boat.

How did you go about finding them?

In the owners info the original owner was named, there also were documents naming the second owner as well. An online search found them. The original owners contact was unique, I first called the son, a junior, but after talking a few and realizing I was not a scam he connected me to the father.

Nice. The PO of my boat was a Chinese money launderer who fled back to mainland China and 'dumped' the boat with a broker on the way out. I haven't had any luck finding him. :)

Ha ha funny because i tracked down the owner before the person i bought it off of for the old 268da i bought last year. They were not happy i did even though my message was just about some things they added abd previous maintenance as well as for some registration docs since the guy i bought from only owned it one season and did not bother registering it. Long story short it got better and we are friends now but wow the original response was anger that I tracked them down. My boat also came with all original manuals for every ancillary part.

Some people can be that way. Glad it worked out.
