I sat this Formula in Grand Haven this summer. A diesel converted to outboards.
I'm sure some of you know the boat. MM

It's a Fountain. I talked to the owner in Frankfort at the fuel dock. Quite a story behind it, but basically, they loved the boat and wanted to keep it. The diesels were in need of work, and so they made the decision to go to outboards. He said it handles like a dream. Better than the original set up. A very, very nice refurb.

Wonder if they increased the size of the fuel tanks to compensate for the weight of those outboards. Assume they are gasoline. Unusual swap to go to gas from diesel. Beautiful boat.
Not so much a cool boat, but a cationary tale. This sailboat came into the local canals during View attachment 63299 a very high tide & got stranded. That was 5+ years ago. It was somehow maneuvered to the seawall where it sits to this day.
The boat owner & the seawall/home owner are not the same people.
It could likely be extracted during a hurricane storm surge, but at this point, why?
