I'm one of those that feel frustrated over the recent chain of events that for one reason or another are preventing government funding for the "WALL". So low and behold a veteran has begun a go fund me page to help build the wall. I put in my $100 for now and the fund has quickly passed the $1 million dollar mark and climbing fast. I've never felt compelled to even visit Go Fund Me until now. What say you.

Why hold back? We're all subject to the first amendment!

That's a new one... I can see the dems starting a go fund me to tear down a wall

Or we could take the $10B we just gave Mexico to build it

Well you know what they say about politics and religion.

Anywho. For least 2 decades or more our elected politicians have bailed on the American Citizen. Sure they pay us lip service in fancy commercials and maybe a debate or two. But when push comes to shove they treat foreign countries and non-citizens better than the people they are supposed to represent.

$4.3 million in 4 days by 53k donors...

Reported, GoFundMe trying to hide the page by removing from trending list.

Although if the Fed does not stop raising rates a wall will be needed to hold up the crumbling country...

Why would they want to hide it when they are getting 10% off of the top?

But....didn't Trump say Mexico was going to pay for this? It's also too bad all these people who contributed money, can't rally like this to support homeless Vets or children.

how high do they make the wall? 45 feet? what happens if someone has a 50 foot ladder and a rope.....then what? or the dig a tunnel under the wall? What are the many ways Mexico will pay for this that won't come back to the American people paying for it (ie higher priced on their goods)?

You ever been on a 50 foot ladder? Oh and you need to drag one up and over to get down the other side. Granted nothing is 100% going to stop people, but by reducing the opportunity you'll reduce the amount. No different than leaving your front door wide open when you go on vacation (many thieves), to closing the door leaving it unlocked (thief has to at least try the door), and locking it (now he needs to seek other means of entry).

And Mexico can "pay" for it just by reducing the costs of supporting the people coming in. Less people, less cost to support. Reports have the net cost over $100 billion. You can build a lot of wall.
