Why on earth does a brand like Sea Ray put those crappy Igloo coolers on their boats?

If you're too heavy handed, the handles pop off and even if you're delicate the lid will pop off if you push it back too far. Sea Ray should be embarrassed.

Anyone found a suitable replacement? Doesn't look like Yeti has anything that will fit. Rtic does have a soft sided one that looks similar but I'll lose some space since it is 6" shorter. Looking for other options to fit in the built in cooler area.

I have an Engel but not the same boat. See if they make one that will fit. They are very high quality.

Just checked out the brand. Look interesting.

lots of 'head to head' performance test between the high end coolers on YouTube....Engel coolers always do well in the test and are as good or better than Yeti for much lower cost....

Engel coolers are very popular with hunters and fishermen due to their ruggedness and performance in keeping ice a long time...

I thought a Yeti was mandatory for Searay owners

We take a small Igloo when overnighting on the hook. It holds just the right amount of food, drink and ice for the evening and breakfast in the morning. Saves us from turning on the fridge for an overnight, and the size means it is not in the way. We use our fridge when cruising only, and then clean it and switch to the Igloo. For us, it is a good solution.

I've got one, but it is too big to fit under the seat where the $hitty Igloo goes. The Hopper 18 would fit but it is too small to fit drinks and food in for a day on the lake.

I rest my case. :)
