Several months ago there was discussion about a device to mount to your black tank that was connected to the boat water system to flush it out. Does anyone remember or have a link?

In one of the several links that were posted on these 2 threads, there was mention of hooking up the Camco Tornado up to the freshwater system on the boat. Well, do not do that! There needs to be a separation from the waste system and the potable water system on the boat .....or guess what the next batch of ice your icemaker makes will taste and smell like!

The other reason for not doing this is that you usually get a lot more pressure from the water supply on your dock or at pump out station.

Used in conjunction with NoFlex Digester the waste system becomes odor free in a couple of weeks and stays that way if you continue to rinse the tank with the Tornado before and during pump out.

I followed Frank's advice and installed these this year. They work wonderful. I will turn them on when doing a pump out and literally watch them clean the sides of the tanks. I was nervous to cut a hole in th tank, but it was unfounded and all works as planned.

Great Product and even better endorsement!

My son just bought a new camper and it has a connection on the outside near the black tank to hook up your city water hose. There is some type of washdown inside the tank that spins like a dishwasher would and sprays the sides. The camper is only 1 month old and he hasn't used the washdown yet but looks like it would work. (He lives in the camper at his jobsite 3 hours from home)

Thanks so much for the input.
