Truly Blessed IV

2010 Nautica 12' RIB, 40HP Yamaha

MAN CRM 900s
We traded in our '07 52DB, Truly Blessed III, for an 07 58DB, creatively named Truly Blessed IV. We spend a lot of time on the boat and the full beam master state with queen bed that we can walk around to make is nice, as is the larger bridge and salon. Plus....our youngest is now taller than I am and he no longer fit in the bunks of the 52DB.

We loved the 52-we put 500 hours on her in 4.5 seasons. Great boat, and a rocket ship with the 800 HP MANs. At WOT, the 58 is nearly as fast, albeit gulping a bit more fuel, but she is also more comfortable in rough seas--approx 8 tons heavier than the 52.

The 58 was purchased in Pompano Beach, then sold and moved up to the Occoquan River. The owner's wife suffered an injury that prevented her from being able to safely climb the bridge ladder, so the boat had very little use over the last couple years. The MANs have 1,000 hours; the Onan has 1500. We did proper due diligence with a great surveyor, and Hild's Marine Service, the Mid Atlantic MAN Dealer, performed the mechanical survey-great folks. She surveyed well, but we had a two page list of small items, all of which the seller agreed to take care of.

Prince William Marine did an incredible job taking care of the survey items and cleaning her up-new bottom paint, black canvas to replace the factory tweed (and an Ez2CY bridge enclosure); and a host of other items. My sons and I replaced all the bridge and cockpit white lights with blue LEDs, and the boat looks nearly new.

Congrats and good luck Skip! Awesome boat! Don't think we'll fit together on the T-head at Spring Cove now.

Nice boat you got yourself. I am really looking at 58DB's as the wife also likes the full beam master. For now our 48Db is good but I am always looking down the road.

The 58DB is on our shopping list too - They're great boats
Unfortunately we're in a covered slip and by the factory drawings I'd only have 2.5" of clearance to the radar full of fuel and water. I'm still waiting for an actual measurement to verify the drawings. Could you provide an actual measurement from waterlevel to top of radar?

Nice boat.....though I’m a bit biased.....

Congrats Skip and welcome aboard the 58DB Official Thread - that you started - Thank you! We lost my dockmate Michael Collins who sold his 2013, but Friday I gained an '06 in the slip next to me. Purchased in Stuart last week. I'll introduce him to CSR. BMAC, TC410, you and me have the 58DB's on CSR by my count...

Congrats Skip! You’re going to love this boat! Look forward to sharing questions and feedback amongst us on this thread! Thanks for starting it!

I posted this on another thread, but thought it would be best to post it hear since it applies for our boats for sure...That way if you want to save it for the future, you will have it...

I've got a new owner of an '06 58 slipped next to me. He bought it in Stuart and brought her over through Okeechobee. Hope he will join the forum as well.

Hmmmm, Carter........that looks strangely familiar....

And - Does anyone have an actual measurement from the waterline to the highest point?
I can probably modify the anchor light, tallest obstruction then is probably radar -
Thanks for your help, I'm trying to get a realistic view if I can get a 58 under my covered slip

Aaron and All's Well:
Here's from my Owner's Manual:
I believe with a hydraulic lift (rather than the "standard platform" - which was fixed, add another 2' or so to length, so 60.5' or so...
Adding the last two #'s together gives a height of 19'8" to the top of the KVH dome. The mast is above that, but it is hinged and easily dropped down. With my antennas up, I'm about 27' or so...

(FIG. 2.8.1)
Hull Length ................................... 54ft. 6 1/2in. 16.62m

Thanks Carter -
Matches the drawing that Capt Rusty had sent me.
I was hoping that the actual real world dimension would be less given the amount of stuff that we carry on board.
If anyone has actually measured the height from waterline up to either hardtop or radar I would be very interested.
My slip has a beam at 19' 10.5"
The 19' 8" dimension from the factory and owners manual has me worried that I won't fit
