In 2015-2016 season we had 79K views on the football thread.

In 2014-2015 playoffs we 37K views and the SB had 35K views.

The NFL was really rolling along...

I have not seen any dedicated football threads this year or last year too.

I have not watched a full game this season, most of my football friends rarely mention it, even if they have it on they really do not watch in earnest, just use it as background or watch a cool replay now and then. I have never seen anything fall from so high so fast, meaning they were the envy of all the entertainment world, now not as much.

Do you still watch? Do you still care?

I have not watched a game since they started kneeling during the national anthem and probably won't watch another game anytime soon, watch hockey now, much more entertaining and the players and teams seem to have much more respect for each others and all the other things that matter!

I'm over it. They want to get all "meaningful", they can do it without my sponsorship.

I stopped watching the NFL also... don't watch highlights or sports talk about it. They are dead to me.

College football on Saturday and NASCAR on Sunday!

I told the wife and kids if I see NFL on the tv. The tv will be laying in the front yard. A complete slap in the face to those who have fought and died for our country.

Mainly out of habit I watch my home team - da Bears. Same thing since I was maybe 5. Lots more losses and frustrations than wins. I usually fall asleep for a quarter. Other than that, I don't really watch.

This is what happens when entertainment becomes political… A lot of "entertainers" should learn about this… They should just…. entertains and leave the scene.

I didn't watch a single minute of NFL regular season last year after week 3. I watched Bills/Jags wildcard playoff game (closet Bills fan), the championship games and the Superbowl. This year, I'm only watching my Bengals (sometimes).

My focus has really changed to college football. I've always rooted for and watched the Buckeyes, but now my Saturdays are spent watching a lot of college football.

the only games i 'sometimes' watch are the Carolina Panthers games because they are local....and then i really don't watch the game that closely....i only watch mostly because we are usually with fiends watching the game and i don't want to be rude to them....but the Panthers have one player that is kneeling during the anthem...i am watching to see if the new owner of the Panthers continues to allow it....if he does i might be done with the NFL all together....

College (Gooooo Dawgs) - Yell “Go” and holding the “o,” then yell “Dawgs” and chant “Sic 'em! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof!”

Super Bowl for the family party, food and the ads :)

Last year we watched the Super Bowl but only because some friends were having a helluva party (it's an annual event) and I wouldn't miss the party.

This year I've watched a few Hawks games but I'm not really interested in the game, I'm usually on CSR. I look up at the TV if they're showing a replay but that's about it.

FUGUM.

I haven't watched those poor oppressed bastards in 2 years don,t miss it a bit, I admit I did miss watching the super bowl because I had watched them all for 50 something years didn't miss a one. But you know what I do in the place of NFL I thank service people when I see them out instead a even pay for their meal every now and then I feel a lot better doing that than watching some crybabies. I Like what Gofirstclass says, I second that, FUGUM.....ROLL TIDE.....

I still watch the Steelers but they don't and haven't had anybody kneel. The only issue they had was the fiasco with Villanueva exiting the tunnel without the team. They had a reasonable explanation and no 'disrespect' type things since. I don't like Tomlin and don't respect him but have been a Steeler fan for life.

So a co-worker told me something his brother said to him. I have needed a police officer, I have needed a doctor, I have needed a teacher, I have needed a plumber. I have NEVER needed a professional athlete or a famous actress/actor.

Also stopped watching when the players started kneeling but also doesn’t help that the Lions suck. Collage football (Go Blue) & Red Wings hockey.
