Are you getting a 470 or a 47?

I used to have a 47, awesome boat.

I purchased Zach's 2008 470 Sedan Bridge. I'm heading up to Minnesota next week to start the 1700 mile journey back to New Orleans. Fully thing is I seriously considered purchasing a 2008 55' Marquis LS. How do you like your Marquis?

Somewhat familiar with Zach's boat, we had a lot of conversations before and after he purchased the boat. You have a great boat!

We really like the Marquis. Performance is great, storage is beyond comprehension. We wanted a 60ft boat, but wasn't willing to spend the $'s for an L class. Was painful leaving the SR family after having a couple of them, but has been a good decision for "our" requirements.

Feel free to reach out if there is anything I can assist with on the 47.

Bump...Good guy.. smooth transaction on the sale of our 47.

Enjoy the trip South!
Zack, I was a pleasure working with you on the purchase of your 470 SB... I mean my 470 SB. We are currently sitting at an anchorage just below Lock 13 on the Mississippi. Two day 310 miles, only 1400 left.

Keith, congrats on the boat. I'm curious about your route. Will you stay in the Mississippi River all the way to New Orleans and then jump through the Industrial Canal to get into the lake? Or will you punch up the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers, throught the LBL and then down the Tenn-Tom to Mobile? Sounds like a heck of a trip.

We are going to go up the Ohio then over to the Cumberland then take the Tenn-Tom to Mobile. The lower Mississippi is way too commercial.

It’s been a fantastic trip so far except for the 60 miles on the Ohio River. We are currently in the Kentucky Lake which is the most spectacular scenery for boating. We will be in Pickwick Lake tomorrow.

Glad to hear the trip south is going well... This area is a place we hope to spend some time in the future!.. Good luck

Keith, congrats on the new boat and being able to start out ownership with a great trip.

BTW, whatever that is in the second pic you posted---I'd go around it. It looks dangerous. :p

Congrats on the purchase and what a great way to get to know her with the extended cruise getting her to her new home.

One of the nicest, if not the nicest, vessels I've seen for sale on this forum.
