I purchased this boat this season but do not see any threads or info on it.
Does anyone know if there is an official or unofficial thread for the 350/370 Sundancer?
I would like to know how to get the fabric speaker covers off in the cockpit. I'm not sure if they just pull off or if there are any clips.

I just got mine this past November as well. There use to be an old thread that I found a couple of months ago, but it was not updated in a long time. I came across it when I did a search back in the winter. We have been really enjoying it. It was a nice move up from our 290 Amberjack that we had.

I have the same question, but have not got around to posting it. We may need to give this question its own thread to get an answer.

Welcome to the real 350! Yep, just yank those covers off. I've replaced my speakers also on the swim platform as the cones tend to rot every 3-4 years.
Happy to help with any issues you may have. Its a Great boat, but there are a few maintenance items that a 2008 requires.

My 08 330's speakers were also fastened with the industrial velcro. I pulled one off, and in this case that Velcro did not release easily, I really needed to work it.

If you use a plastic spatula or putty knife to separate the velcro, it goes much faster/easier. Also, you may find there are some plastic "christmas trees" (think automotive interior panel fasteners) used to attach the panels in addition to the velcro...

Great point, and that now makes me recall picking up an interior trim removal tool from the car parts store, which served the same purpose as the plastic spatula/putty knife.

Finally a site for real 350's. I see spatterings of 2008-2009 exchanges over many different threads.

Does anyone know how to remove the pull out tray re-fridge? I need to replace the door.

Anyone have pictures of the cockpit sun pad? Ours didn't come with one and i have the part#2076938 however, the teak table doesn't seem sturdy enough to be used as the support for the cushion? I do have the short nubby pole. Help please!!!

If you are talking about the small refridge:

There are 2 fasteners, one on each side. I think they were 1/4-20's. I wasn't going to remove the large Nova Kool fridge to get at the aft fastener so I cut it. The bow side fastener you can get at. I pulled the fridge out about 5" to get at the hinge fasteners on the bottom to replace the door. The hinges were not fixture located and the new SS hinge hole pattern was different so I just replaced those corroded fasteners with SS ones.

Let me know if you still need a picture, I can run down to the boat and snap a couple of pics.

Here is a pic of the pad. I store it at the house haven't used it yet, reason not sure where to store it when we have the table in that spot.

When installed in the boat what supports it? I've never had mine on the boat either. It's stored in the garage.

The cockpit teak table comes with 2 pedestals. Use the short one. Then there should be a "platform" to fit on top of the table with straps/snaps to snap under the existing cockpit cushions. It will have Velcro on the top for the cushion to sit on. I had trouble with the screws under the table pulling out when putting weight on it.

08 350 Sundancer Changed all the bellows but still have a slow water drip at the transom. It is a Seacore Bravo 3 and find it hard to believe it is the steering pin since it is Stainless Steel. Im thinking it is the transom assy and wondering if anyone else has had a similar leak. The Surveyor missed it but said he did see the rusty steering arm on the inside of the transom but didn't spot the leak. I told him he should have put that in his report to inform me. Thinking of going to a certified Mercruiser dealer. Can anyone recommend a dealer on the LI Sound near Mt. Sinai including Connecticut? Thanks, J-Rod

If I remember correctly, the steering pin assembly has a seal that actually leaks. It’s not the pin itself per se. Usually it (the pin) corrodes and the resulting abrasion destroys the pin seal causing the leak. In short, I think the seal can still fail over time, despite the absence of a corroded pin.

Do you know how long the stainless pin has been in there?

That is true for the standard Bravo 3 but the Seacore comes with the Stainless Steel steering pin that does not rust. The non-Seacore pin can rust and this is what takes out the seal.
I found the "Official 370 Sundancer thread and will post the question there to see if anyone had a similar issue.

Ok, I did not realize SeaCore included the SS pin. Nonetheless, the seal does have a lifetime due to normal deterioration so maybe still the seal if it’s original to the boat?

Hard to believe due to 170 hours when I purchased last year. Correction, I found the "Official 350/370 DA thread (2008 or newer) and will post the question there to see if anyone had a similar issue but will keep watching this one. Thanks for the input.
