..any general information will be greatly appreciate it...

I would recommend looking at V-Drives over stern drives for simplicity of maintenance. Compared to the annual maintenance and concerns with the bravo 3s on my 260DA in salt water my 340SDA is quite simple. The handling around the docks is also better as the props are more forward.

Man alive....if I know one thing it's that you don't post something like this until after the survey and sea trial are complete! You run the risk of jinxing the whole thing!!! :)

Only kidding - best of luck with your sale and your shopping. I assume you know exactly what you're looking for. I personally would go older and bigger but that's just me. If you'll be shopping over the winter do yourself a favor and hit at least one late 90's 330/340. It might change your outlook...

Hi @KevinC in order to get V-Drives i am looking at like 320 and up which is way over my budget . . .

Look into the 2000/2001 340s. I am sure you can find something in the 50s to 60s there and it will be a much better boat. If you get the 8.1s the boat have lots of power.

If not I think the 2000/2001 310s offered V-Drives. I think the 310 was reintroduced around 2007 and I think that would be hard to find in that price range.

thats the thing if i got 340 my marina will rape me $4200 + utilities ... a 300 can fit in my current slip for $1700 thats the reason why i am looking into 300's @KevinC
