Welcome.

My boat has a sunbrella snap in carpet covers over the interior carpet that need replacement. Would I use your interior RV products or exterior marine products?

Do you sell by the yard or do you cut and bind to a pattern?

Hi copb8tx! So we offer a standard woven vinyl floor covering that's perfect for both RV and Marine flooring application. We sell by both the yard as well as custom mat kits based off of a pattern.

So I'm a bit confused, are you and quint4 competitors or work together?

Infinitylwv, I have a 2005 420 Sundancer. Can you PM me an estimate of what the cost would be to have custom fitted runners made for my specific boat? Thanks.

Sorry for the confusion. We are the manufacturer of our Luxury Woven Vinyl Flooring and we work with dealers such as Quint4 who sell and quote our flooring. Feel free to check out the "Find a Dealer" section of our website to find an Infinity Dealer near you: https://infinitylwv.com/pages/find-a-dealer. We would be more than happy to answer any questions based on the product itself.

I have Infinity in our Meridian 391. This is the 2nd boat we’ve put LWV and absolutely love the product. They are great people to work with also.

Thank you for the kind words! Really awesome to hear how our flooring has become a good solution for various boat owners. Have any pictures?

any thoughts on this situation? It foams like this every time it gets wet and looks terrible

Hi dpvandy01,

The foaming substance you see is a surfactant inherent in the manufacturing process of the vinyl backing that will go away with time. It is non-toxic. We have received this question from time to time, and it seems to be one of those issues that few customers care a lot about, others just wipe it up with a towel and move on about their day.

In terms of how quickly it will go away, it can vary greatly depending on how it’s treated. A good analogy is comparing it to soap on a dish rag—if you rinse it and squeeze it a few times, you get the soap out quite a bit quicker than just letting the water run over it. When the foam appears it would be better to rinse it off with water or wipe it up with a towel rather than sit and potentially re-absorb into the surface.

Thanks!

Wow well thanks for your concern and shitty response. I just figured that after spending $1600 on your product I wouldn't need to "wipe it up with a towel, and move on about my day". It's a boat and it is likely to get wet with being surrounded by water and all right? Plus the morning dew. and you are telling me to wipe up your foam??? Piss poor response but thanks. Welcome to the site BTW

Lol, well, I know what I'm NOT going to replace my carpet with.

You guys are tough. Look at it as a short little break in period. It wasn't any inconvenience at all to me. I barely even remember having the foam appear when I installed it on the cockpit and bridge several years ago.
