Calling all 360 DA owners

I'm interested in knowing how many 360 DA owners are on CSR, in case I want to direct questions your way using PMs. I am aware of Two Peas, PMvdb395DA (Peter), My3Sons and BOZ. Any others? Is there enough of us for an "official 360 thread"?

Re: Calling all 360 DA owners

Hi Larry,
I'm not sure we could seat a jury with us all.
You are # 10 on my list (that I am aware of), but I have only been counting for a year.
A few have moved up in size, and I haven't heard from several in a while. Hopefully some have just not been on-line because of the off season here in the great white north.
I don't think there is any reason we couldn't have a 360 thread.
Hope your getting some use on your boat there in the beautiful pacific NW. I drove by the marina here a few days ago and there was an ice fishing hut right about where my boat is parked the other 5 months of the year. The season here is WAY too short.
Feel free to send a PM anytime, or just throw it out on the board, our boats are very similar to 340's and 380's of the same vintage, and there certainly are a bunch of very knowledgable folks out there.

Re: Calling all 360 DA owners

Mark:
Thanks for the reply. I knew the 360 was an "exclusive" group, but didn't realize how small it really was. Have to admit we didn't go looking for a 360 but fell into a great deal, and we are thrilled with the boat. I guess there weren't that many sold? I realize the later 380s are essentially the same boat as SR changes the model designations over the years. We are having a very balmy January here in Seattle, with temps in the 50s and very light rain, so we have been on the boat for the past 2 weekends getting trained. Here's a picture of our marina - sorry to hear of your short boating season.

Going to try posting picture again.
OK, that worked. Forgot the "upload" step.

Re: Calling all 360 DA owners

Hello there!

Nice to see, that we have a 360 thread here.
I thought about it more than once, but I was afraid that it wouldn't lead to a active thread...
But now that we are with more, we can share a lot of info etc.

My 360 is winterized, but I still "visit" her almost every week.
Also I do some maintenance here and there.

I am also still looking for a solution for the water that gets through the front window frame...

Peter

Re: Calling all 360 DA owners

Here's another 360 owner, from the Great Lakes State. It's a balmy 7 degrees here right now. Boat is tucked away. But the Detroit Boat Show is coming up, and that always gets the boat fever going again.

Re: Calling all 360 DA owners

Our 360DA is resting nicely inside a heated warehouse while it is 10 degrees outside...

It got a waxing last week and is awaiting a few more parts to arrive before I do a complete SmartCraft retrofit (SystemView SC5000, two new SC Tachs, two new SC multi-gauges, and a new original 4-gauge dash panel to hold the new gauges).

The new 44lb stainless steel delta anchor arrived this week and is awaiting installation too.

Can't wait for warmer weather to shampoo the carpets, clean the canvas and glass, and we'll be ready for an early spring.

The only drawback we've noticed is that we'd like to have separate sleeping bunks for our two children without using the salon sofa, and are contemplating a 410 or 460 as the next jump. Diesels and a thruster would always be nice too...

Re: Calling all 360 DA owners

Good to see attention to the 360 family. I also am waiting for the spring weather to come. The ice for now is gone from the river. We have had a cold one. Our boat show in St. Louis is coming up next week. The wife is out of town. Silly for her not to realize how dangerous that can be to leave me alone at a boat show. Ha! There is a lot of information available on this site but speaking directly with owners of the same size boat can provide a lot of detailed information which is invaluable. I welcome a PM anytime also.

Re: Calling all 360 DA owners

360 owners are measured by quality not quanity. That why we picked a Sport Yacht versus something less. I do not mean offense to smaller Sea Ray owners. I just appreciate the quality and upgrades of my 360.

I am on by boat every weekend year around at least to start the motors. However this weekend I am attending the Dallas Winter Boatshow to see some old friends and see what is new. A 360 thread would be good.

Re: Calling all 360 DA owners

I just saw this information posted for another model and realized I had it somewhere on my computer for our boats (or at least the 2003 version). I had the info sent to me by sea ray last year when we were shopping for a 380 or 360 so I could compare specs. Unfortunately I deleted the 380 info after I bought the 360 so I couldn't send it on to them.
Thought I would share it in case some of you were interested. Take care
